Air liquide offers purification systems associated with helium liquefiers to recover the helium present in natural gas (between 350 l/hr and 4,500 l/hr and more)
Our liquefiers are intended for industrial operators of natural gas who wish to recover the helium that is present in small quantities in their source. They are designed to order and are able to operate with or without nitrogen pre-cooling.
They are tailored to our customers’ needs and can be fully automatic or semi-automatic.
All liquefiers are fitted with turbines, the heart of the liquefaction process, developed by AIR LIQUIDE. These turbines use static gas bearing technology, which allows them to reach rotation speeds of up to 300,000 revs per minute, with MTBF of 100,000 hours.
Industrial liquefiers are built into a helium recovery unit including purification, liquefaction and the container loading bays offered by AIR LIQUIDE as a unit..
