The head of State accompanied by Ségolène Royal, Minister for Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy and André Vallini, Secretary of State for Territorial Reform visited the premises of Air Liquide in Sassenage Thursday August 20th. This visit focused on "Energy Transition and green growth" has enabled us to present our activities related to the energy transition of tomorrow, the ITER project, and also to today's energy transition through hydrogen and biogas. The President then exchanged with researchers and regional partners of the industry (CEA, Intelligent Energy, McPhy, Atawey and Symbiofcell) on innovations surrounding hydrogen energy.
The visit began with the manufacturing workshops of cold boxes for the ITER program followed by the presentation of a charging station for hydrogen vehicles and a biogas purification unit.
During his visit, President Francois Hollande met with more than a hundred company employees and has congratulated them for their involvement and contribution to the energy transition, and concluded:
"Congratulations on your accomplishments. Congratulation on being innovation driven. What you are doing, is the future."
