Curiosity celebrates it first anniversary on Mars

The rover Curiosity celebrates its first anniversary on Mars today.
After twelve months of exploration, the rover has already achieved its main goal: revealing that in the past, Mars presented favourable conditions to support life.
After several months in the crater of Gale, the next mission of Curiosity will be the ascent of the mount Sharp which peaks in 5500 meters and which could reveal new fundamental discovers.
Initially planned for 2 years, this mission will be probably extended.
Air Liquide was involved in the design of the gas chromatograph and the brazing and welding of the capillaries, and also carried out various jobs related to operate during the assembly of SAM at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Washington, D.C.
